How we handle alerts
- We only relay alerts from official sources (NWS, UDOT, county and city agencies, Utah Fire Info) and link to the original post or page.
- Every update is timestamped in Mountain Time. When an alert ends, we mark it as an update.
- We check emergency information against the official source before posting.
- No ads or sponsors appear on alert posts.

Call 911. DixieChatter is not an emergency service and may not have the latest information. Always follow instructions from local officials.
